
All Trade and Professional Visitors are welcome to go aboard the Visiting Warships on 18 & 19 May 2011. You will get first-hand information on the various operational equipment and systems onboard the warships during the guided tours.
The vessels will be here at the invitation of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and will be berthed at the Changi Naval Base.
The presence of a large number of warships is an integral part of the show and a reflection of Singapore’s excellent relations with international navies and their respective countries.
Interested visitors are required to register at the Warship Visits Counter located at the rear of Exhibition Hall 2. Complimentary shuttle service will ply between Singapore Expo and Changi Naval Base on 18 & 19 May 2011 from 1000 to 1600 hrs. Please note that strict security procedures will be enforced for entry into Changi Naval Base.
To beat the queue, all visitors are encouraged to pre-register for a Trade Visitor pass to access the Exhibition.
Warship Visit Rules & Regulations
All visitors are required to wear the IMDEX Asia 2011 Trade Visitor Badge at all times.
Visitors may be requested to present personal documents such as a passport or identity card for verification prior to admission to the Changi Naval Base.
No photography is allowed between the Changi Naval Base Security Gate to the warship and return. Your camera may be impounded if there is any infringement of this rule.
All visitors must remain within the area where the Visiting Warships are berthed. Wandering off the designated limits is strictly prohibited.
All visitors, without exception, are required to leave Changi Naval Base by the end of the stated visiting hours.
Embarkation of the warships is at the full discretion of the respective Commanding Officers.
Members of the Media who wish to visit the ships are to register at the Press Office.
